Ready for retirement?

I've retired twice:-
1ce in 1996 & 2ice in 2008.
Hecky THUMP! Is it THAT long ago, or I've lost count?
Whatever - On the left a stolen Blip of this rose 12years ago, all bar two days.
It was planted out pre-Blip so I can't guarantee how long it had been in situ in March '09. 
It has served us MIGHTILY because - it lived in a pot for something approaching 10+yrs before it was finally planted into Mother Earth.
The Root/stem junction isn't all that obvious so I roughly delineated it.  Since then it has certainly "grew some".
I'll see how it performs this year now.
I have heard of a border becoming "Rose sick" I should think this one's possitively brassed off.
(Or some sort of OFF anyway.)
