Summer House
I slept well, but was still really tired when I got up. It took me a wee while to get myself going as I pottered and did some kitchen tidying. I then dragged myself out for a walk/run. It was a lovely morning and not windy. The running bits felt good, I even ran up part of the hill, so impressed myself with that. Hopefully I will be able to join it all up soon and my knee will hold out. BB finished his school work early and spent the rest of the morning fast asleep on the sofa!
I had ordered lunch from a local café which opened up again this week for takeaways. That felt like a real treat. After a few more chores, I popped out for a walk and to pick up the things I needed for tea.
Later I collapsed on the sofa, but couldn’t settle to watch anything – I need a new programme to watch, BB was gaming and TT was Zoom-ing.
This is the remains of the summer house at Amisfield – built in 1755. It is on the golf course, but I took the picture from the opposite side of the river.
