Was "invited" to another lunchtime meeting today. but did I go? No! I did not! That showed them! That showed them that I am my own man and that I know how to draw the line in the sand and say "Thus far and no further!" Imperiously.

What was that? What did I actually say? Well, it was something along the lines of "I'm sorry, but I can't come as it clashes with another lunchtime meeting." But I think that they (and, by "They", I mean "The Man") got the message about the line in the sand and the imperiousness and everything. And I only had to go to one lunchtime meeting. Yeah!

And then to football. And then home. And then Risotto. And, as soon as I hang up my keyboard, a bath.
