Early Morning Sky

I was awake very early.  No one called but I checked our work WhatsApp group.  Yep, we have a problem.  20 to 5 in the morning.  Ok.  Toddle downstairs, fire up the pc and straight into a telefon conference.  

That's not a great start to any day.

The problem was a very odd one.  We had checked things beforehand and we were pretty confident that we didn't need to change anything.  But.  The broken job said otherwise.

I still think it's nuts that we still have to specify space requirements on the mainframe.  It should not be a thing.

But it is and I can't see it going away.

So my advice for today - have nothing to do with mainframes. 

PS RIP Peter 'Hot Shot' Lorimer.  Sad news.
