Day 362 Through the fence

Today was sunny with mostly blue skies and so I made the effort , with The Son's help, to go up the patio steps and into the garden.  I took pictures of the now flowering rosemary and some primroses but in the end preferred this through the trellis shot of the flowering quince that we we share with our neighbours .  There is too much light coming in really, but the softness and muted colours  of the background appealed.
In extras is my alternative flower, Violet, who popped in after school to show me her red outfit worn at school today for Red Nose Day.  She's  wearing her sling because her elbow popped out (dislocation) on Wednesday. Luckily her other grandpa wa able to get it back into place again.  We did watch the telethon this evening which for me was much improved by being a mere three hours long.  It might be an idea to stick to that format if it continues in years to come.
