Tulips on the Hiawatha

Since Jimmy passed away last year I thought his boat, the 'Hiawatha' had gone, but there it was this week in a new berth. Jimmy lived on the boat with his westie terrier. I enjoyed many blethers with the old sailor, not only that but I wrote a fictionalised short story based on his character. His death was quite sudden, and I never had the chance to say goodbye. So when I saw the boat again, I knew I could do something. I left the tulips, a copy of my short story and a wee thank you note to Jimmy, because if his spirit is anywhere, it might be on that boat. As usual in his yellow wellies.
