Blackthorn

Another sign of Spring. There's one bush near the entrance to Trentham Gardens where I look out for the blossoms arrival each year.

The extra is a fuzzy image of a treecreeper. Three of them flew past me and stuck to the lower trunk of a tree. They were within a couple of feet of me and I managed a couple of quick shots before other walkers scared them off. Unfortunately, that's been one of the issues about lockdown. More people, means less quieter paths in the woodland areas on the estate. It doesn't take much human activity to make the wildlife scarce.
