Pasqueflower

A promising day weatherwise, and success in a last minute hunt for a ticket, saw me heading to RHS Wisley for a day with the aim of capturing some spring flower protraits.

I favour those dreamy shallow depth of field images, often made with specialist lenses (which I do not possess). I do however own a number of macro lenses capable of shallow DOF, but I rarely seem to capture what I am looking for. This one comes close for me.
