On the doorstep

The previous owner turned the stump of a cut down tree into a house, and Katy decided to sit there.
I walked into town this morning before more gardening this afternoon. I had a shock though. I was removing more dead vegetation whe I came across a hibernating hedgehog. I quickly recovered it and got Mr D to put old carpet on it so I hope he/she is ok. It looked a good size so I hope it will be ok. More contact with relatives today. I think I can now talk to Mums friends.
