Monk's Cave

My usual walk but with only one dog. I left the running away ringleader at home. This view is looking towards Burntisland and Kinghorn with the remains of the 15th century Monk's Cave in the foreground. Not a cave as such it apparently was a man-made ferry house or warehouse used by the monks of Inchcolm Abbey. The upper storey has disappeared but the vaulted lower storey is still there.
