A Rare Stripe

The end of another working week. A slightly chilly walk this evening to get the steps done. We were thinking the other day when looking up to the sky, how rare it is to see a vapor trail at the moment. A few years ago we had that strange period when flights stops due to volcanic ash from Iceland. That only lasted a short period where as now we've got used to seeing much clearer skies. It will be interesting to see how that changes in the coming months. After the sun had set, this one trail painted a clear line across the sky.
