Yes or No? A Treat...or No Eat?

Ernest ("Don't call me Ernie!") the egret and several pelicans were raiding the large bin of fish at the fish market. They had to watch for the workers who were chasing them off with a long plastic pipe, but Ernie (oops) came away with this morsel. Which leads to many questions.

Did he get his breakfast wish...
and successfully down the fish?

Did he have to whine and wallow...
in order the fish to swallow?

With all the moving and the doting...
did he get the fish down his throat-ing?

After he tried and tried and tried...
do you think the fish was just too wide?

After watching for several minutes and taking more than several pictures...now, I ask you...yes or no...a treat or no eat? 

Lots of questions, but not many answers.

It was nice to get a little peek....
to see if it would go down Ernie's beak.

We'll never know the riddle of the day...
because Ernest  (with the fish) flew away.

If you forced me to bet any of my dough...
my answer would be...a RESOUNDING NO!
