Unattractively Flaccid

A bit of a blipless day today for some reason largely unknown. At odd times during the day I have peered into the slocooker watching the sausage casserole do its thing. For the most part it has looked distinctly unattractive. The chicken sausages have looked like flaccid lumps of flesh and I have been pondering on what else we could have for a meal.

As it so happens, I got involved in finishing a book I was reading so sausage casserole it had to be. It tasted OK actually although it would have been better with some more tasty sausages...

Spring starts this weekend. We seem to have been waiting for spring for a very long time.
