Queen's View

Another lovely day so we headed over to the Allean forest for a walk, stopping at the Queen's View en-route to take in the view. We had the place to ourselves which was rather nice.  The loch is Loch Tummel and the mountain in distance Schiehallion. 

After our walk we continued driving to Tummel Bridge , crossed the river and then drove back along the side of Loch Tummel - mist enjoyable. 

On returning home, I made roasted red pepper and chorizo soup which we had outside - wonderful. This spell of good weather has felt really liberating, almost like coming out of hibernation. Long may it continue.

It is once again Friday - the wine is warming (I hope !) and T is make dinner. Have a lovely weekend all.
