Flower Friday

Another quietish day as I still feel tired after my jab on Wednesday.   I did an hour and a half at work, prepping the big room that I am decorating but was glad to sit down when I got back.   An afternoon mostly lying on my bed, watching the Cheltenham Festival on TV was undoubtedly the right choice as the aches and heaviness were less of an issue later.   Whatever you views about horse racing, it is one sport where women and men compete together.   Rachael Blackmore the leading rider this week is being hailed as the best in the business right now.

I did spend a few minutes mooching around the frames in the garden.   This Fritillaria bucharica, seed raised and flowering for the first time is perhaps the nicest thing in flower at the moment ..... although I am spoilt for choice :-)
