Best walk

I managed to get up early and get started on the promotion interview prep.
After an hour or so pissing about in a distracted and unfocussed pointless way and decided to put it all down and go for a walk. 
A glorious day of warm spring sunshine. 
The nature reserve was all birdsong and wildlife busyness.
I don't often see starlings here so that's today's blip.
I photographed a comma butterfly, great tits, blue tits, long-tailed tits, sparrows, robins, starlings, a greenfinch, and a nest-building wren (see extra).
United drew Granada in the quarter-finals. I think they have a good chance.
Almost time to watch United's women play now.

I can try the interview prep again tomorrow. For now, Friday beer beckons.
