Delinquent Daffodils

When my boys were very small they brought home a little pot of daffodils each from school/nursery. I planted them, then a couple of years later a neighbour’s little boy pulled all the heads off while his mother watched. She laughed and said “it’s so funny, he only pulls out the yellow flowers”!  I didn’t say anything but was a little upset - and they never came back until this year, so pleased to see them :)
