New Paths

I love to spend my time at Wigan Local Nature Reserve, but this year it has understandably been very busy with even more people than usual getting out for a walk to escape COVID.
The beaten tracks have become really muddy and almost impassable in places, so imagine my joy and delight to see the worst parts being fixed and upgraded today - dangerous tree branches cut back, narrow paths widened, and a hard surface being compacted!
Trouble is, there'll be even more folk wandering my quiet paths now.....
