Severn Bridge.

This afternoon I headed over the bridge into Wales to work in Monmouth. On the way, I fulfilled a long held ambition and went for a walk on the footpath that forms part of the bridge. As the large lorries thundered past, the whole bridge seemed to shake but it was great to see close up this amazing feat of engineering, first opened by the Queen on September 8th 1966.
