Flower Friday . . . Cosmos

This pretty flower represents the day.  The sun shone and the bees were busy.  I was a domestic goddess making two spiced apple shortcakes for the street hospice fundraiser lunch tomorrow. I had to make them today because tomorrow morning I will be picking grapes at the brother in laws.  I'm looking forward to that first time experience.
