Cheese straws..

After my run this morning, it’s been a full on baking day. Quite a production line going on.
I think the last time I made cheese straws was in the first year of secondary school as one week of learning the rubbing in method of pastry making.

More biscuits made too, and they passed the taste test. Tomorrow we pack the Easter hampers ready for distribution over the next two weeks before Easter.

Great news... my sister messaged to say she’d gone on a 2.5 mile walk yesterday with friends. She’d taken one crutch but hadn’t needed it. She’s still having to take pain killers but was thrilled with her achievement. So are we all!
