Smardale Gill nature reserve

We had a surprise on arriving at the Smardale car park, a little coffee stall! That’s something new! She owns a children’s clothing shop in Kirkby Stephen which of course is closed at the moment. So she has bought a coffee set up and today was a try out.
After our pleasant walk we returned to the car park for coffee and cake! The coffee was really excellent, freshly ground and good and strong. She will be back on the 3rd of April and the ongoing Saturdays so head on down!
