Cooking tea

It was another beautiful sunny day today.  We went for a walk around town and saw the swans at Sanquhar Loch crossing the road and holding up traffic.  This was nearly the blip of the day until I noticed the afternoon sun coming through the window and casting shadows.  It looked a more virbrant orange colour in real life which unfortunately didn't come out in the photo.  I made dhal for tea today which went down a treat with no complaints from our sometimes fussy toddler.
