Battery

DW set off for Waitrose on foot in the rain (muttering) as her car did not start. I put it on charge  and ordered a new battery for next day.  After a couple of hours I fired it up  and drove around the block.  Passing the local shop I stopped for some peppermints. Guess what, wouldn't start.  The AA man's machine said it was shot.  

How one passes the days.  Perhaps a more interesting blip tomorrow.
