A walk round the pond

The destination for today’s walk was Rouken Glen Park. Sadly, the garden centre is closed but there are some rockery plants for sale outside where the take away coffee is being sold.

One latte and three plants paid for I was ready for the off but first I had to put the plants in the car. Plenty of folk out enjoying the beautiful sunny morning.

The pond and Boathouse Cafe looked good in the sunshine.The greatest surprise was seeing dozens of frogs also enjoying the warmth of the sun while they went about their business.

An afternoon in the garden with the scarifier ..... we have a kind of love-hate relationship ..... I love the result but hate the laborious task.
