Gosford

Following the recommendation yesterday by rb231 we decided to visit the Gosford estate and as he said there were so many opportunities for blips. There are millions of snowdrops in the woods leading to the house and so many interesting trees and landscape and architectural features including the Pyramid Mausoleum. I chose this photo of the front of Gosford House because of the lion and swan on the roof. Old photos show 2 lions but no swan and I assume that the swan is a recent addition because the clan crest of the 11th Earl of Wemyss, the owner, includes a swan.
