93rd Birthday Celebrations

As it was mum in law's 93rd birthday we decided to make a picnic and take her out in the camper. Not the most salubrius of venues, but she really enjoyed it.  We found a local beauty spot, boiled a kettle and had a cream tea.  The high spot of the day for her, though, was the fact that we had brought Flash, who is the love of her life.  He was as overjoyed to see her as she was to see him.  He has a very small circle of people he trusts, but when you are in the circle he never forgets.  

Unfortunately, it is not the best photo of her.  In her youth she was an extremely beautiful woman. She is still very interested in her appearance and loves shopping for fashionable clothes.  Lockdown has been particularly hard for her as she thrives on company and attention.  Hopefully, we are near the end.  She has had both her vaccinations and we have had one of ours.  We have arranged for her to come to stay as soon as the restrictions are lifted in April. Another step towards normality.
