My mother had her quarterly check-up today, so we went to see her GP in town.
Finding a parking space there had become slightly easier during lockdown, but at the moment the area is riddled with construction sites. A new bicycle lane has recently been built along the entire street, and parking has become a nightmare.
I understand the efforts for a car free city center, but using bicycles or the bus with a permanently confused and very slow elderly lady on crutches isn't a viable option either.
But we got there in the end. And the sun came out for a few minutes, shining on the Gründerzeit buildings which are so typical for Wiesbaden.
