Eye Eye!

Rob took me to Cheltenham General today for my follow up with the Eye doctor.
Having had the 4 eye drains cauterised the hope was for healthier and more comfortable eyes.
I was able to report back on the eye comfort to the doc. I have gone from 50 drops a day in each eye to 3 or 4 in my right eye and about 15 in my left eye. This feels miraculous to me and has changed my life.
Unfortunately the doc needed an actual measurement and did the Schirmer tear test which is very uncomfortable but backed up what I was experiencing. The tear film on the right eye is twice as good as the left. We will monitor this for the next few months. It should improve when the central heating goes off.
But the really good news was that my corneas have healed and both eyes looked the most healthy they have for years. I was so happy I cried, which is good as it washed away the yellow dye.
We celebrated when we got home with a bacon roll.
