Silly Saturday ....

... First Plainfield Rail Trail chipmunk!

As the weather was nice this afternoon we took a ride to Plainfield Rail Trail to see if all the snow had melted .... and it was finally gone!

We hadn't seen any chipmunks here this entire winter ... much to our amazement.  And we didn't see this one until we were getting back in the car after our walk!  Actually Richard spotted him/her first and then I saw it pop out of it's burrow as I was getting in the car. 

It's not a clear picture of the chippy but I wanted to document our first chippy sighting at Plainfield for the year.
