Takaka Hill Fog

Woo hoo!! It rained overnight. Well, for at least 5 minutes, but it was certainly rain! In the morning though it didn't take too long before the cloudy greyness had burned off and the sun shone through brightly.

Took a trip to my beach - Wharariki - where there were plenty of people around (plenty in these parts means about 20 . . . . 30 at the most) though it was pretty much on high tide so not a lot of room to walk and explore. Still as stunning as ever though.

The drive home saw the blue skies of the bay give way to a mistyness further up the Takaka Valley then fog and a little mizzle over the Takaka Hill. As you can see, the summit was pretty limited visibility.

Unpacking the van, showering then having some tea pretty much used up the evening then bed - ready for the new week at work to start tomorrow.

Whooooooosh! That was the weeekend!
