Auld Mug

It's that time of year again as the Orewa beach sandcastle building competition approaches. The theme for this year's professionally built one seems to have something to do with yachting. Of course last year's was preserved in aspic as we went into one of the strictest lockdowns to counter the effects of the pandemic. Talking to the builders today they said that last year they only just managed to get home to Christchurch before the shutters came down. Many thanks for the unexpected but appreciated interest in yesterday's cave and sky shots.
