Climbing Cat

The next door neighbour’s cat climbed up a tree today and got stuck. A ladder, some fish, lots of coaxing from the owner and the cat just climbed higher.

After much mewwing and just as it’s owner was attempting to build a tarpaulin landing bag the cat decided to climb down the tree bottom first. Such contrary creatures. It created quite the distraction from my oven cleaning.

Earlier in the day I visited the Lenham outdoor market and purchased freshly baked sourdough bread, French cheese, daffodils, local honey, wild boar and garlic koftas, corn-fed chicken and veggies. It was so nice for the traders that today was dry, usually it rains on the monthly market day.
