Woodcocks!

This is an illustration from The Sibley Guide to Birds because even with the iso up to 4000 I wouldn’t have gotten a photo because it’s too dark but ! I’m so excited! This is the third year there has been one in the neighborhood and in our yard! And this year there were 2! I had to post a woodcock ! They are out there peent ing and doing the flight , and I saw one in flight ! What fun! Made me forget getting home late .
