Wet winding walk
I walked with Elbows today, and we all got throughly wet and muddy. Once we’d stopped, and bought a coffee to warm up, blue skies starting to arrive.
Typical.
I managed to book myself a first and second vaccine today. I was aware that nearly all my school gate friends (same surgery, same age, same postcode) had had a vaccine weeks ago and wondered why I hadn’t. I wanted to wait patiently but it became obvious that I’d been missed. It turns out that the surgery had recorded my phone number incorrectly. And while they were sorting out re-inviting me to book, Elbows noticed on Instagram that anyone over 50 can book their own. So I did. I’m relieved really, as the boys are back at school, and church is open again.
And as my big brother keeps pointing out, the vaccine is a wonderful provision from God.
