Roehampton House
Tier 5 - Day 72
Had to take Barney to the vet today in Sheen. Passed Roehampton House. It looks very grand.
It is a Grade 1 listed house built in the early 1700s on behalf Thomas Carey. In the early 1900s Sir Edward Lutyens added a north and south wing. From 1915 to 1983 the house was occupied by Queen Mary's Hospital. In 2010 work began to convert the property into 24 apartments and houses.
