Eying the prize

A mix of indoor and outdoor tasks eventually gave way to a walk. It was good to feel the warmth of the sunshine despite the chill wind in more exposed parts.

I spotted this Nuthatch in the trees near the castle and was enthralled by its movements. It was sure footed on the mossy bark and was rootling around for tasty treats.
