Railway pond

Today, another beautiful day, so I drove across York and parked up close by the Railway fishing pond where I started my walk.  I have known this pond for many years but haven't visited for around 2/3 years and was pleased to see how much work has been done improving the surrounding ground.  We walked around the pond and I was pleased to see that there is a pair of swans in situ!. See one of the extras. From there I decided to have a look at my old home in the Foxwood area before making our way back over Hob Moor before returning to the car. There has been some pretty planting up on some of the green area next to Foxwood Lane - other extra.
