Oh what a day!!

Up early as it is the littlest monkey's birthday - she's 11! Where did the time go??

Drove to Walcott with my niece who is spending the weekend with us,to take the hound for a run and ended up driving back home through Ridlington which is when the clutch went on the car! :( I ended up getting towed home and the birthday meal at Prezzo on the city didn't happen :( :(

We actually came to a halt outside the church in Ridlington and snowdrops were everywhere. So what else can you do when you are waiting for the tow truck? I did take some photo's of monkey blowing out the candles but they didn't turn out so well.

Seriously our luck is unbelievable. If it wasn't for bad luck we would have none at all. The monkey was somewhat disappointed but soon cheered up as we got a Chinese and spent the evening watching Doctor Who.

It wasn't the best birthday for her (well in my opinion) but her sister is taking her to the cinema to see Les Miserables tomorrow so she says she had a good one :)
