ICE SHOVES

The original shows pressure ridges forming as ice breaks up on Lake Winnebago. The more ice that breaks up, the higher the piles will become...it's rather like tectonic plates of ice colliding with one another and forcing up the excess material. It's just starting and with a strong wind forecast for tomorrow I wouldn't be surprised to see tree high ice piles along the shoreline.

EXTRA: The ice shoves are starting to grow along the west shore. Won't be long before it's all over the yard and maybe up to the house...totally dependent on wind direction.  Both best seen in Large.
