Herb Garden

We went shopping this morning, and I worked hard planting this afternoon. I had to balance up buying plants with being patient and using what I already have. The soil has been well conditioned, so fingers crossed everything should thrive. I chose to put the herb wheel (as per yesterday's Blip) on the soil, hope that looks OK.

There are quite a few other things waiting to come up, and I've popped in some temprary things to fill the gaps. I'm amazed that I did not dig up my dicentra spectabilis even though the shoots are only just coming up. I've left one section of the herb wheel to fill when I go to a different garden centre. I also put the mint and golden marjoram in pots. The later was the main thing that took over when I let it roam free. I've popped in some of my white honesty and forget-me-nots to fill the gaps in the meantime. I'll also use my scented geraniums to fill gaps after the frosts stop. I've got some chives left over to pass on to anybody that wants them.
