Whoomp Here They Are!

I noticed them yesterday so Ms H and I took Arlo down for a wee snifter to see his first lambs. He wasn't that interested, probably because they walked away from us. It won't be long before they are playing king of the castle... not Edinburgh Castle in the distance!

But more importantly he got close up and personal with the 3 working collies on the farm. He's not had a good experience with them, if we pass them when they are in the back of the landrover they bark at him and he's petrified, if they see him from afar, they bark at him, if he hears them barking from afar while he is in the house, he barks back... oh brave boy Arlo! We're fine with it, it's their patch, it just messes his head sometimes. 

Anyway, where was I? We were passing the farm and noticed one collie in the grass, then the other 2 appeared. All 3 of them surrounded him (he was on the lead) for a sniff, and he sniffed back, and there was no barking, and they wandered off. What a relief... I hope all 4 of them remember their encounter next time! Might take a few meets...
