Project 365 day 75: trees at dusk

It was damp, rainy, windy and heavily overcast all day today, but it's been difficult for me to get out for walks recently, so when I had the opportunity to grab half an hour to walk up the hill and back before dark, I wrapped up and put my little compact camera in my pocket. The rain had almost stopped, and although the light was too poor to think about photographing leaves in bud or violets, the sky was full of colour and movement, with clouds at different levels moving at an extraordinary pace and a variety of skeletal winter trees silhouetted on skylines. It was good to be out and moving, the best antidote to my growing sense of petrification after a year of shielding.
