The path to the two lagoons.

The path beside the trees leads to two saline and freshwater lagoons, these formed after subsidence due to historic undermining of the land. The land is adjacent the tidal estuary, there’s an embankment along the foreshore. Both bodies of water are known for their local biodiversity. When I sent a video to our sons one immediately remarked on the birdsong.

We were going to walk further along the foreshore but cut short, as we wanted to watch the First Minister’s announcement in the Scottish Parliament on further plans for relaxation of coronavirus restrictions. There was a lot in her statement. No doubt not enough for many.... but it was encouraging.
