Ninesprings

We had the excitement of a trip beyond the confines of Street to Yeovil as I had a routine appointment at the hospital to have my hearing tested.

I managed to break one of my hearing aids the other day and, when I phoned about getting it repaired, they realised it was 5 years since I’d last been checked. Anyway, there had been a slight, expected deterioration and within 20 minutes I’d been fitted with more modern, hi-tec aids and was on my way, noticing the sound of distant traffic for the first time in ages.

We took the chance to have a walk in Ninesprings Country Park at the bottom of the High Street where I took this blip of the pond.
