Punch Bowl
Day 357 of UK COVID-19 Pandemic. First UK Vaccine 99 days ago. England in lockdown. Wales partial lockdown.
It's the day we collect granddaughter Amelia from nursery and have her overnight, so on the way we stopped off on the Blaenavon Road above Abergavenny (South Wales, UK) to do a walk to the Punch Bowl. This spectacular site on the eastern side of the Blorenge Mountain is dominated by a large, wooded glacial valley containing a man-made lake. Some of the trees are over 200 years old.
Cardiff City FC play Stoke City tonight so I'll hopefully get to watch most of it unless a little lady pulls me away to play!
