Maggie

This is the black and white bird who should have posed for yesterday's MM blip but who disappeared as soon as I got the camera out!  but hey ho, Maggie was back again this morning on his/her favourite viewing platform, the Sparrow hedge.  Not a very good shot  from the rain-spattered kitchen window and he's looking pretty dejected.

I'm glad to say though that his injured wing seems to be improving as instead of just hopping, we see him doing a hop, skip and a jump on the runway and then getting off the ground for a few flaps.  When and if he does get his wings again then I shall politely ask Maggie to move along as our Sparrows, Blue Tits, Robin and Wren have started building both in the nest boxes and hedge and I don't want him upsetting them.
