Lists
Every Saturday I remember to take a pound coin when I go shopping. It’s the only time I need to take cash out of the house and, most of the time, it is the only cash in the house. I get to the supermarket and I use the pound to unlock a trolly. I’ve learned to make sure I get one with a place for the shopping list and a working metal bar to hold the list in place. I’ve been caught out by a bar that doesn’t clamp paper in place. Before COVID restrictions I would have just swapped the trolley but that’s harder now, especially if there is a queue of people waiting to get in the shop. But I don’t often get a trolley that still has somebody else’s shopping list attached. It reminds me there’s a website dedicated to Other People’s Shopping Lists.
