Nest with a View

What a view over North Edinburgh, the Forth and Fife the wee ones in this nest (top left) will have when they first peep out!

It was a glorious morning - mild, sunny, still, so I rearranged a work meeting and went out for a walk while the going was good.  At this time of year you never can tell how long it will last. 

I ended up doing a 9km loop round Corstorphine Hill Nature Reserve and the adjacent Murrayfield golf course.  There still aren't many leaves on the trees, but the air was filled with birdsong and it definitely felt like spring, at least for an hour or two.  I even had my jumper off - that's definitely my first short sleeve outing of the year.

Good for the soul, that.
