Surgery Eve

...and I'm doing what I always do - taking a quiet walk along the beach to calm the nerves and distract myself for a minute. I found this beautiful pink shell, which feels like a much brighter omen than the dead magpie I found by the water's edge last time!!
Feeling a mix of excitement and fear in equal measures but I'm hoping that after this I may finally start to believe that it's all over and that things will start to get back to how they were 'BC'
